YMP/Brookes Bell Sailing Evenings: 1 & 15 July 2013

When: 1 & 15 July 2013. The first race on each evening will be at 7pm (but please arrive at around 6pm to allow time to rig and get to the start line).

Where: Docklands Watersports and Sailing Centre, Millwall Dock on the Isle of Dogs

How it works: YMP members are invited to enter teams of two or three people, generally one helm and 2 crew. The racing is in Bosun dinghies. There will be 2 or 3 races each evening.
There will be no training or tuition so each team must have at least one experienced dinghy sailor who is willing to helm. Buoyancy aids are provided, otherwise participants will need to bring their own sailing clothing (on a warm evening this may only need to be shorts/t-shirt and shoes you can get wet – a waterproof jacket may also be advisable).

Food & drink: The races on 1 July 2013 will be followed by drinks and sandwiches in the Club bar. The races on 15 July 2013 will be followed by a Grand Gala Barbeque.

Cost: The cost per team is £25 per evening, payable on the day. The cost is to be split between the participants.

RSVP: Boats need to be arranged in advance.

If you are unable to make up a full team, please let Victoria know and she will try to match you up with other members. Please let her know in particular if you are able and willing to helm.
